Acid Rain is very pleased to announce the presentation of "The Shaman" by Amanda Barr.

"The Shaman" is a piece about spiritual growth and an awakening that happens through acknowledging
the power beyond our selves. A revelation that joy and enthusiasm can come from meditating,
dance, a mystical black ball, and nature. Even a Shaman can have loss and may need a boost.

Every soul needs healing. The Shaman searches high and low for balance and wholeness, and
succeeds. This video was edited and filmed by Jesse Paddock, music assistance by Jil.

Amanda Barr (b. 1973, Ashland, Oregon) lives and works in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
She is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design (BFA, 1996). Her work has been shown
at Guild & Greyshkul (NY, NY), Allston Skirt (Boston), New Image Art (L.A.) and at fairs
in Miami and Cologne, among others.
