Acid Rain Production is closing out 2009 with an episode featuring a psychoarchitectonic animation by Josh Tonies. He currently lives, makes paintings, video, and bakes bread in Braddock, PA. From Tonies: "These structures often find themselves as base components in our individual and collective experience. A glimpse of a jet passing overhead, the shuffling through voice messages in between an afternoons errands, the momentary action while purchasing a newspaper renders countless glimpses into remote experiences and places. The overabundance of events, histories and constructed environments has brought with it an array of spaces that individuals inhabit, contribute to and navigate. A growing number of these spaces are not connected to history or identity, making the production of personal meaning difficult for inhabitants. Defacing that landscape’s landmarks and fixtures offer alternatives. " He has exhibited his work nationally at Mass MoCa, Light Industry in Brooklyn and internationally at Meinblau e.V in Berlin.
